The MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital project is the first project on the east coast to utilize both the SidePlate Moment Frame system in conjunction with Buckling Restrained Braces.  SteelFab played a design-assist role with Walter P Moore and ADC Engineering in economizing the framing system and skin support framing.  The project also featured an innovative LEAN Building approach to both preconstruction and construction activities.
