Delta Sky Club

This project was built over the existing Terminal B at the Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport with W14x730 trusses weighing over 100 tons each spanning 125’ between four cruciform columns. The top chords of the long span trusses support the composite floor framing for Delta’s Sky Club with the bottom chords supporting platforms for mechanical equipment and maintenance catwalk framing. There are four exterior stair towers, two new elevators and a pedestrian bridge over the existing terminal roof for access to this venue scheduled to open July 2016. This project was erected at night and required closing of four gates during various phases of construction at Delta’s busiest airport terminal in the world.
