Job Summary:

As a Software Developer Intern at SteelFab, you will be introduced to several different aspects of the construction industry while working alongside our Software Development and Engineering teams on various projects. You will build on your experiences and skills throughout the internship by taking on relevant responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

Essential Job Functions

  1. Full-stack development and support for engineering design applications
  2. Plugin development and support for various software platforms
  3. Perform System maintenance and version control for highly customized 3D modeling software platform
  4. Provide Technical support and custom solution development for end users including internal staff and external subcontract users
  5. Testing, research and development for integrated system updates and internal improvements
  6. 3D model file management and translation between multiple software platforms (BIM management)
  7. User guide documentation development and maintenance
  8. Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum Education Level: Sophomore

Major: Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil or Systems Engineering

Required: Programming experience or training for.NET environments (C#, C++, VB). Aptitude for computer and technology systems in a Windows-based environment.
